During the seventh edition of the Festival of Lights, the German capital city was able to shine in its best light: not only all the famous buildings and squares of Berlin but also entire streets of houses were spectacularly illuminated.
Night owls, people doing evening walks and participants of numerously arranged light sightseeing tours explored the sights of the metropolis between October 12th -22nd, 2011.
Throughout the event, TSE AG was in charge of the ‘Tempodrom' and ‘Brandenburger Tor'. Applying 60 units of LITECRAFT LED Outdoor Par AT3 and two units of Citycolour, lighting designer Jürgen Cappell turned Berlin's landmark into a living work of art.
Over the years, Festival of Lights has been enjoying increasing popularity. About 1.5 million attendees discovered the city by foot, bus or boat. With 2,300 participants, many of them having specially travelled from abroad, the Linden Leaves LightRun formed the sporting highlight of the festival. For all those who unfortunately missed the happening: Next Festival of Lights will take place October 10th-21st, 2012.
